  1. Measure the existing vanity footprint or the available space for the new vanity: width, depth, and height. Standard bathroom vanity heights are 30–32 inches (standard) or 34–36 inches (comfort height).
  2. Specify whether this is a vanity-only replacement (cabinets and top, using existing plumbing rough-in) or a vanity relocation that requires moving supply and drain connections. Relocation adds a full plumbing rough-in phase.
  3. Indicate whether a new countertop is included: integrated sink top (fastest — comes pre-assembled), undermount sink on a stone or solid surface top (requires template and countertop cut), or vessel sink on a flat top (requires a drain hole cut).

The estimate covers disconnecting and removing the existing vanity (0.5 hours), drywall repair behind the removed vanity if required (0.5 hours variable), setting and leveling the new vanity cabinet (0.5 hours), mounting the countertop and sink if separate from the cabinet (1.0 hour), supply and drain connection (0.75 hours), and mirror or medicine cabinet installation (0.5 hours). Total for a standard vanity replacement with pre-assembled top runs approximately 2.5 hours.
